Clearing old URL's from the Address Bar

Hi

How do I clear URL's from the Address Bar - I've been into
clear history in tools - which clears most - but I've been
infected with some porn sites and they keep coming up when
I type www..... etc.

Please advise

You should be able to clear everything thru tools-

Internet options.

Try jvw history eraser at

Hi,
These are probably coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

If these URLs are recreated (without a visit to the website) you may have
malware installed.
