additional hard drive and second OS

I have Win Xp pro on 2 sata drives set up in a Raid 0 array.

I've bought another hard drive, again sata, as there's a spare sata
connection on the motherboard. Is there a beginner's tutorial anywhere on
setting this up so I could load Win 2000 on it. Could I do this without
uninstalling XP first as I understand that 2000 should be installed before
xp. Or is that only if both are on the same physical drive?

If none of this can be done, can I just fit the drive, format it and use it
for extra storage? A good 'how to guide' for beginners would be great but I've
not found one on Google yet.

Regards,

Same drive or another drive doesn't matter. They all end bootstrapping
from the same place anyway unless you want to go to the trouble of
entering BIOS to choose which hard drive to boot from. If you have W2K
sata drivers or you're MB makes sata look like pata to the OS what you
want to do is easy ...
