additional DC - pre W2K or W2K only

I am going to setup another DC in my AD. Because I didn't
setup the first one, I'm not sure if the 1st W2K server
was setup using pre-W2K or just W2K only. How can I
verify how it was setup?

If I'm not mistaken, you would use for "pre-W2K" if you
have NT servers or win98 clients?

Mixed mode domain can have NT4 controllers as BDC.
