Adding the date to the Taskbar

Right now I have my time on the Taskbar and if I put my
mouse over the time it displays the day and date. I
would like to have that information on my taskbar. How
do I do that?

Right click somewhere in the middle of the the task bar (not the tray in
which the clock is)
Make sure that "lock taskbar" is not selected
Grab the top line of the task bar with your mouse
Pull it upwards so that it gets a double height
The date will now be underneath the time in the tray
You can lock the task bar again now
