Adding names to Contacts

S

SDR

Hello,

Just tried to add a couple of names to my contact list and there's no "Add
To New Contact" button. Very strange, I know I've used it before. But when
I open Windows Contacts there's just "Organize, Views and Burn" on the top
menu bar, "Favorite Links" on the left. I can open a contact and edit it or
delete it but can't add a new one.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

SDR

Open Contacts. In an empty area of the Window, right click and select
Properties, Select Contacts from the Template drop down list and check the box
beneath the drop down list. Press Apply. Press OK.

After you go to "Customize this folder", it should say "What kind of folder
do you want? Use this folder type as template:" Immediately below that
should be a bar with a small downward-pointing arrow on the far right.
Click on that arrow.

In the "Customize" tab
What kind of folder do you want?
Use this folder type as a template
select "Contacts"
ok

You're very welcome -- even though I forgot to add that you had to go to the
Customize tab to find the Template drop down list.
