Cannot add New Contacts

I cannot add a new contact. When I click on the Contacts Icon inside
Windows Mail, it opens a Folder and lists the contacts, but there is no Add
New Contact icon to add a new contact, nor does it allow me to import
contacts. It also opens the same way if I click on Start/Windows Contact.

The only options when the folder opens is Organize, View, Burn. Why is the
Windows Contacts opening as a folder. How do I get it to open so that I can
add new contacts.

Follow this :
Open Windows Mail > Contact. On an OPEN SPACE inside that window, right
click, click Customize This Folder > under " What kind of folder do you
want " heading, click the pointer till you see CONTACT. Click that. > OK
Now you should see, New Contact, New Contact Group etc.
