Adding music to slideshow

I have created a slideshow in PowerPoint and included a .wav file of music on
the first slide and scheduled it to play during the entire slideshow. It
works great on my computer. But when I save the file to a disk and try to
play it on another computer, the slideshow plays perfectly, however no music.
Even if you click on the music icon...nothing. Please help me. It is a
slide show that will be needed soon. Thank you.

what version of PP are you using and what version is used on the other
computer.
Check the link.
Is it saved in the same folder like the presentation?

There is a chance that your WAV file has not been embedded in the presentation
file and if you didn't also copy the WAV to the disk, that would explain the
problem.

WAVs will be embedded if they don't exceed the limit that you have set in
PowerPoint. Go to Tools > Options > General and set the size limit there to
50000. Then delete the WAV from your presentation and add it back in. Save the
presentation. You should notice that the file size has increased. Now move the
presentation to the other system and test it.
