Adding Headers to Slides

Can not find an option in: View > Header and Footers > Slide (tab), for
displaying a Header. There is a check box to select Footer, Date & Time,
Slide number (all of these are footer options. Can not find anything that
allows for a Header except in the Notes and Handouts (tab). How do you add
Headers to the slides, without have to add an additional title section.

You could add the desired header text as a text box on the slide master.
