I read an article about this and it says to select the message in the folder.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA100137761033.aspx#1
anyway, this functions in my personal folders (which I dont use). I have a
hotmail account I used exclusively in Outlook 2007. When I select any of the
folders in my hotmail account, I am not able to select "Organize" under the
"Tools" drop down menu. I would like to add color to message headers in my
inbox from special senders.
In fact, when I right click on an email message in one of my hotmail folders
and select "Message Options", I am not given the oportunity to click on
"Categorize" or anything else in that pop-up box (unlike the messages in my
personal folders).
Seems like I'm doing something wrong over here! If it cant be done with
hotmail, then why does it work with my experimental gmail account?
thank-you,
walter Graham
