Adding an FTP folder in Explorer

Under the root directory of Windows like when I open My Computer, I have seen
FTP folder icons with which I can easily use to open those remote folders to
upload files into or download files from. How can I create these folders? I
know the URL of the FTP server and have the username and password.

go to 'my network places'/ add network place
use this format for the location
ftp://username:password@ftpservername
you can create a shortcut from this and put it where you want
