Adding a second CPU

I have a Dell Precision 470. I do see that I need a special headsink,
fan shroud, and voltage regulator module, all of which I have found on
eBay. My question is about the CPU itself. When I search
pricewatch.com, all of the less expensive CPU's say in their
discription that they are for the IBM X-Series machines. I am
wondering if this means there might be something attached to the CPU
specifically for the the X-Series or if the CPU will work in my Dell.
I need a Xeon 3.4GHz 800 2MB.

Call or email the sellers and ask whether there is anything
proprietary, or if they don't know then at least whether
it's in the typical shrink-wrapped Intel retail box. If
it's a sealed retail package, it is not likely to be
proprietary and offhand I can't think of what they might
attach to the CPU for some other socket/mount/?/?.
