Added paragraph spacing

C

Cathy

I have two templates that I need adjusting. In one template (possibly created
on Word 2000) the body text style has 6pt before and after and "don't add up
para spacing" is not ticked.

In the other template (created by me on 2003) the bodytext style has the
same parameters.

In the old template the "6pt below" the first paragraph and the "6pt before"
the second paragraph both show (equalling 12pt between two body text
paragraphs).

In the new template the "6pt below" only shows when there is not the same
style following. This although "don;t add space" is unticked!

Both styles are paragraph styles and based on nothing and set up absolutely
identically. HELP?

Open the old template in Word 2003. Click Tools | Options, Compatibility
tab. Clear the "Don't use HTML paragraph auto spacing" setting, and click
OK. Save the template.

If you want to change the setting for existing documents, you will have to
do that separately.
