hello

well fellows , i am back.

i had one of these free poker games that i downloaded
from i think cnet , well i had it on my D drive and i went
and formatted the drive.

when i went to add/remove to remove it i got this:unable
to locate the installion log file
d:\programfile\uninst.isu and can not remove it.

my question is , are there anyother way to remove it
from add\remove?

thanks much
larry

Not without the log file. So, manually, you can search and edit the registry and Delete
found Keys /Strings, and then try to find .dll files in the Windows folders (needle in a
haystack). That would be very time consuming, and probably would not remove all of it.
The quickest way would be to reinstall the game to the same drive, then uninstall it using
add /remove..

Remove unwanted items from Add/Remove programs:

Start, Run, type regedit, press enter.
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Delete any program names you no longer need. Just be Careful... deleting the wrong thing
could really screw up your PC.

Best is to download and install again - making sure you put it in the
same folder. That will then have replaced everything including the
uninstall info
