Add/Remove Programs Icon GONE??

In my control panel the add/remove program icons simply
isn't there any longer!

How or where do I re-install it / find it?

If you're on a workstation that's part of a network, your administrator may
have set this option purposely via group policy.

Otherwise, try typing the following at the Start-->Run prompt: regsvr32
c:\winnt\system32\appwiz.cpl

When did this problem occur?? Was it after you installed a particular piece
of software? Service pack etc?

[The Zone Sportscards]

Not on a network, just my home pc. I don't really know when it
happened. I got an annoying search bar auto-loaded into my explorer
and the 'get rid of it' instructions, said to use add/remove programs,
that's when I noticed the icon was gone.

I tried the regsvr32 at the run prompt, but got a "no dll specified"
error.......
