Add/remove programms

I want to remove a programm,but the "add/remove programms"
button in the control panel isn;t responding. What should
i do?

One Fix, strange as it may sound, is to re-install IE. As I understand it is
an issue with conflicting service pack levels.

I too have the same problem. Re-installing ie does not work as the
installation program believes there is an update in progress. Deleting
the ie folders allows the instlaation to proceed. The Add/Remove
programs problems still remains.
