Paul

I've just noticed I have the same issue as you Don! I was
able to Add or Remove programs a few weeks back. The only
things I've done to my system is add microsoft updates
and a VPN system so I can access work files from home.
You done anything like this in the last few weeks Don?

Thanks...

Paul

There could have been any number of things that I've installed that could
have goofed me up. I recently did Microsoft updates and installed a
Microsoft . NET program. in order to be able to run a chess game.
Interestingly enough it was the only program that had the remove button
visible so I got rid of it, but that did'nt solve my problem, the damage was
already done. I should have mentioned in my message that Micheal read, that
all my programs installed used to be visible in the Add/Remove program and
only recntly about 14th of them are visible in the add/remove list. I hope
I won't have to do a complete Windows XP reinstall. I'm am so tired of
having that as the only solution to problems! Regards...Don

Hi Don,

I answered your other post. Do me a favor, if AutoCad is not installed,
send me this key via email and tell me the last Add or Remove entry listed
and then the next after the white space. Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Uninstall
