Add/Remove Program problem

I am trying to remove HP Officejet program. When I highlight the first HP
program and select remove, I get message "Plese turn off device" whether the
device is on, off, or unplugged. On the second HP program, after selecting
the program, there is no option to remove (i.e. the button available to
remove on the first program is not visible at all). Any ideas on how to
proceed?

Try to remove the software in the systemmanager (Start/systemxxxx/software)
(xxx is, because I only have German System and don not know how this is
named in the english menues)

After this, try to remove the driver by right- klicking on the "your
PC"-Icon, coosing "propperties" and then turn to the part, where the devices
are managed. deactivate the driver of the printer or deinstall it.

If you even want to remove all regestry-entries to kepp yout Systemboot
fast, search for "jv16 powertools" in google. it´s a very good free tool.
