Add-Remove Critical updates

I have just installed the latest Crtical Update B887742, which said could be
removed through add-remove programs.

I also had another 9 old ones all dated 9 Feb, which I deleted from Windows
as I've had no problems with my PC from that date.
On checking Add-Remove to delete any old references, I've discovered not one
is showing there, including the one just installed (which is supposed to be
removable)
Does anyone have any idea why they're not showing up there?

You must check "show updates".

And, by removing any updates, you have once again made your computer
vulnerable.

Why on earth would you uninstall them?

Sorry, don't follow you.
I didn't mention anything about uninstalling them.

Normally if you delete the 'blue backups' from Windows, you can the go into
Add-Remove, try to uninstall them & get the reply - "can't find. can't
delete, do you want to remove this entry from Add-Remove - yes".
It does not remove the update, just removes those two entries.

My question was why they've suddenly stopped showing up in Add-Remove in the
first place.
