Add printer issue

I have a basic xpe image made and I can't seem to initiate the ability to add
a printer. I'm logged in as an admin, and have printer settings enabled in
shell permissions. when I click add printer, nothing happens.. HELP..

Did you enable the "help" system in your image?

I thought I did.. Is there a specific component name for that or an option?

No component. In the Configuration Settings - looking in the Other settings
options and Uncheck the option that disables help files.

I have that setting unchecked already so it is copying help files. How can
I troubleshoot this problem?

One more component, do you have Windows Installer Service component in the
configuration?

I have the Windows Installer Service setup. I needed to add a class install
library - Printui to get this working.

My next problem seems to be the 1.25 hr turn around time between making an
image change, and getting it test after the fba runs. Is there a way to
skip the fba or merge images so I can speed up test time?

There is no skipping FBA, and you don't want to merge files.

If you are booting from a slow device - i.e. CF - I recommend using a hard
drive during development, and then move to a CF once you are closer to
finalizing the image.
