Add or Remove Programs of XP

My Add or Remove Programs doesn't show all the programs that i have installed
in my computer.
When i check my registery key of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ It
won't show all prgrams i have installed. It only shows some programs, those i
can see in my Add or Remove Programs list. It is not REG_DWORD value problem.

Is any one knows how to get back those programs back into my Add or Remove
Programs, that i have installed in my computer but won't show in my Add or
Remove Programs list?

Not all programs have uninstall information and so will not appear in
add/remove, especially older programs..

Hi,

What programs do you not see in the Add/Remove window. Kindly give details so that we can see the cause for this situation.

Sometimes programs do not appear in the add/remove list. their removal icon will be visible in the start menu along with the program icon.

Some programs come without an uninstaller. in this case it will be impossible to uninstall the program. always check with the vendor if they have a uninstaller available for thier programs.

Each application writes this to the registry themselves. If you have
applications that aren't showing up, you should contact the program vendor
and let them know you'd like to see them there. This will likely only work
for fairly new applications, however.

I'd be interested in knowing the apps as well.

I've got the same exact problem. Before upgrading to xp sp2, I was able to access all of my installed software from A to Z for repair or remove. Since the update, I now can only see the software installed from A to O (Opera). I can stroll down for an enormous blank space to the bottom.
While I love the sp2 update, I'm unable to figure out what's happened for
Add Remove Software in the Control Panel.
