Add Ons

Hi.
When I bring up my Hotmail site I get flashing adverts across the top of
the screen and down the right hand side. This slows my computer down to a
great degree and makes working on my business Emails very difficult. This
goes on for several days maybe a week and then they go for a few days before
returning again. The computer works fine until they come back. I gather
that they are Add-ons and would like to know how to get rid of them.

HI Alan,
Go to Tools >> Internet Options >> Programs Look down in the bottom of the
window and Click the Button Labled Manage Add-Ons and Disable all that Non-MS
Add-Ons.
On the Privacy Tab see if your POP UP Blocker Set to Block POP UPs, clear
your IE Caches and Cookies.
Click OK, then Reboot.
If you have Anti-Virus with Firewall Installed Try to set the Firewall to
prevent POP Up And Ads.
Try to Scan for Malware on your Computer.
