Sorry for the brief description before...
A few months ago XP got a fatal STOP. I did a restore from my OEM sys disks.
Since then, the H/W Wiz will not auto start when I hot plug a camera, drive,
printer, etc. Often I will see an Uknown Device in the device Manager, and
can get the driver installed by choosing Update Driver. But often it won't
find the device at all, and often it won't remember the device the next time
that I use it.
