Add file shortcuts to outlook tasks

What is the easiest way to add file shortcuts to outlook tasks in Office
2003? I just want to be able to go to the proper Excel file / Word Doc etc.
related to the task. Many times I get security warnings about unsafe
attachments, even though they are my files on the local intranet.

I would like to just drag and drop a shortcut (right clicking and dragging
does not work) if possible rather than cutting and pasting the path and
enclosing in carrots.
(i.e.<\\mycompany.org\home\nthome\me\myfiles\relatedfile.xls>)

Thank you!

I use a context menu utility called clipname that copies the file and
path... otherwise, unless the insert menu offers to insert as url, it's the
only way to do it easily.
