I did'nt a reflist update for a long time, so my last reflist.ref with ~
422KB is of date 07/12/2003 and so absolutely out of date.

Today I did an update and after that I found a new reflist.ref file with
~ 1.3MB. Ok so far, but the date of this "actual"(?) new reflist.ref
file is 10/26/2004...? Any hint?

Before Ad-aware 6 I had 1.05 which had no such a "reflist.ref" file but
a "defs.ref" instead. But suddenly one day this version stopped the
defs.ref update so I had to download the "defs.ref" from the lavasoft-HP
manually. That was the reason for installing the 6-version above.

BTW: On the lavasoft site I can not find a reflist.ref for manually
download but only an updated defs.ref which seems not to be used with
version 6. So I'm a little confused.

Uninstall your wary out-of-date version of Ad-Aware - and install the one
that has been out for the past two years

10/26/04 (R347) 656K is the last reflist available, AFAIK.

The "new" AdAware SE v1.+ uses DEFS.

THX for you feedback. You are right with DEFS.REF for the normal free
Ad-Aware.

But sorry, I forgot to mention Ad-Aware 1.06 *PRO* . And for that
version I got the latest "actual"(?) reflist.ref file of 10/26/2004? In
the PRO version AFAIK there is no DEFS.REF but instead a REFLIST.REF file
