AD slow sync when changing rights

Just upgraded to W2K Domain. BDC is still NT4. DC is
very slow at updating user rights. Could this be because
of the BDC? Maybe it has not joined the domain
correctly?!?

Have you setup DNS correctly (all your servers and clients are pointing to
your AD DNS server) and created reverse-lookup zone in DNS server ?
