AD Server Backup

Hello

Here is the scenario:

Server A Win2K Domain Controller for AD Domain A(previously Domain B before
rebuild)
Server B Win2K Backup Domain Controller for AD Domain B(previously server A
was the PDC before its rebuild to a new domain)

Is there any way that I can make Server B the backup domain controller for
Domain A as it used to be for the previous domain without re-installing
Win2K? Can I demote it to a member server, join it to the new domain as the
new backup domain controller? If so, are there any caveats to doing this?
I dont want to have to rebuild the server because of the Apps that reside
there.
