AD Printer disappear over the weekend

The network printers disappear in our AD over the weekend. We are running
our print server (which is also a DHCP) on W2k SP3 - the domain is in native
mode. The printers' IP addresses are not managed by the DHCP - they are set
fixed outside the DHCP Range. Our only solution so far is to uncheck "List
printer in directory" for each printer and then to check it again. After a
short moment the printers appear again in the AD.
Any idea on what might be the problem? (The problem appeared after we moved
the DHCP service to this printer server ... but we are not sure if this is
the problem.)
