Ad-aware Error

Hi,

I use the latest freeware version of Ad-aware. Today, it started to give
me an error while scanning.

It is set to scan drive c. After about 30 seconds of scanning drive c,
and going through 36,682 (this is repeatable) objects of about the usual
168,000 objects that are scanned, an Ad-aware window pops up:

"Perform a System Scan: Ad-aware.exe - NO DISK
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive D:

Cancel Try Again Continue"

I have to press Cancel eight times to get the scan to continue.

Does anyone know what is happenning?

Sincerely,
Bruce

If you go to lavasofts home page their is a link for
their support forum. You will most likely get better
results there.

With a little common sense and a properly secured computer Ad-aware should
not be necessary.

well it does clean up stuff the first time used if not
installed when computer is new. before i run ad-aware or
sypbot or anti-virus i always delete cookies and temp
files and history and recycle bin stuff. results are
always clean.

also when i get homepage change popup i use alt+ctl+del
to get out of browser window. pressing no option might
change homepage anyway.
