services.exe terminated, no virus found

I got the 1 min. 'system shutdown' message couple of times today so I
ran fixsasser and fixblaster (from symantec), a full virus scan of hard
disk using freshly updated McAfee, a full scan using ad-aware and it
didn't find anything.

I have been up for about an hr. now and it hasn't done that. any other
tool I can run to be sure?

No your problem may software/Hardware related, which you need is to look at
the Event Viewer for any Error messages for Hardware/Software related and
send them here.
Keep an eye on the traffic coming in and going out of your computer to
eliminate the Virus side.
Also your system may overheated and shutting down to protect your system.
