Actually, where is the file

Am using Eudora as a mail client. Have attachments set to go into a
directory named 'attach'. In past Windows OS, that is where the attachments
went. With Vista, it appears that is where they go, but they do not.

This is the link that shows went you put the cursor on the link:

file://C:\Program%20Files\Qualcomm\Eudora\Romeboy\attach\Bennie%20McCain%20&%20Ohio%20Untouchables%20(Falcons)%20-%20She's%20My%20Heart's%20Desire%20'62%20Lu%20Pine-109.mp3" EUDORA=ATTACHMENT>

The file can be played, and saved to another location. However, when
looking at the contents of the directory, it is not listed.

I have gone through all the steps, I think, to make the files visible. Can
anyone direct me to where these files might actually be? Or how to make them
visible?

Appreciate any help.

The problem is that in Vista the Program Files directory is protected and
you are trying to save user-level data there. Instead of saving your
attachments in that directory, create an "Attach" directory in your own
user account; i.e., C:\Users\YourUserAccount\Attach. Then you won't have
any problems finding and backing up your files.

Don't Panic!

Thnak you for the help. I have made a directory and redirected the files to
go to that directory.
