ActiveX misbehaving

When trying to use Symantic virus scan, this message
appears:
"Your Current Security Settings Prohibit Running ActiveX
Controls on this Page"

I've reset the IE6 ActiveX controls, even reinstalled IE6.
What's going on?

Have seen several postings on this today. A patch to IE6
is interfering with NAV and internal security settings.
Suggest you run "add/remove programs" on IE6 to get back
to where you were before you downloaded teh upgrade. That
fixed it for me.
