ActiveX control

I am now getting a "click to run an activeX control on this webpage" when
accessing certain sites (all Myspace!!). If I click OK or even close, most
of the time, this will kick me out of my browser. This has just happened
since I installed SP2. I have all of my activeX security points enabled,
have Quicktime, & have downloaded the cumulative update as suggested by
another post. Still no luck. I was leary of SP2 anyway, now more so!!

This is not really an issue of SP2 being at fault. Instead, the
fault is with the webpage where the programming has Active-X doing
a function that is not desired by the end-user. There is very little
an end-user can do about it, so long as websites write programs and
routines to satisfy its commitments first and guess what drives a
site such as MySpace? There is not much reason for an innocuous site
to be forcing Active-X programming into anybody's computer unless
the user needs it while voluntarily accessing such sites.
