ActiveSync won't see Device Emulator

Hi guys,

I'm trying to use the device emulator, but I found no way to "cradle" it.
When I select the cradle option, ActiveSync will do nothing. Cero. Zip.

I'm using (and reinstalled, repaired, etc) VS2005, Device Emulator 1.0 (and
later 2.0), ActiveSync 4.5, WinXP.

Any help will gonna be welcome!

Carlos,

With Vista and Windows Mobile Device Center, you have to be sure to specify
that you want DMA instead of the default Bluetooth for connections. Is DMA
enabled for your setup?

I was in a similar situation but it is now working. I installed the
Standalone Device Emulator 2.0 and then allowed DMA connection in the
Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows Vista) and deleted existing
partnerships. Using the Device Emulator Manager, I selected my emulator and
"cradle" it. The Windows Mobile Device Center on the desktop picked it up.

Luckily, I'm still using WinXP.
Will try anyway.

Thanks!
