ActiveSync and Windows CE.NET 4.2 Emulator

Hi.

Is it possible to connect to Windows CE.NET emulator installed together with
VS.NET 2003 using ActiveSync?

When I start the "Connect to Emulator with ActiveSync" tool, only Smartphone
2003 devices are listed in the combo!

I suppose this would be the right way to see remote registry, remote process
list and so on...is it right?

AFAIK the tool connects the emulator using CSPs to configure the device
remotely. CSPs are not available on the generic WinCE platform. I might be
wrong, so perhaps someone who had more experience with CE.NET (non PPC)
devices will correct me. You should be able to connect to activesync from
withing the emulator over the network connection as if it were a device
