Active X control notice

across the top of this page is a statement in large red letters
"you must enable Active X controls in order to browse Discussion Groups"
This is not a drop down box that I can click and enable.
My internet tools are all set to enable Active X.
When I click on a message nothing happens until I double click and it opens
in another page. Any explanations anyone? And how to I make this work the
right way?
