Active Directory

Good afternoon. I have two Domain Controllers with one in
a remote office. Everytime I try to get into the Active
Directory on the remote server. I get the following error:

Naming information cannot be located because:
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be
contacted. Contact your system administrator to verify
that your domain is properly conifuged and currently
online.

Any suggestion on how to fix this proplem?

Hi there,

Do you setup the AD Replication Link for your 2 sites
using AD Sites & Services?

Do you get this error from when you bring up AD Users and Computr or any of
the AD tools? Have you looked at the dns settings to make sure that they
are setup correctly for both dcs. Are these two dcs setup in two different
AD sites? You can have two different physical sites but they can still be
in the same AD site.
You can run dcdiag and see if you are getting any ldap bind error 31 which
may be point to rsetting the machine account using netdom. Also check to see
if both dcs are in sync time wise. By default the time skewness is only 5
minutes and if they are more, you can have that error too and replication
will not work.
