Hi

Is there anyone who has got the same problem as me. I have
got a 2000 server and a windows xp client. On the server I
set the password of that user to never expire. and still
every now and again it still lockout this account. Then I
have to go and tick the account locked out box.

And I am running Windows 2000 server SP 4.

Thanks

Chris,

It is important not to get Account Expiration and Account Lockout confused.
They are not the same thing. Just because your account is set to never
expire the password does not mean that it will not get locked out if
someone/something passes 'x' number of bad passwords.

Do you have an account lockout policy defined?
