Problem with Password Policy

I have a Windows 2000 Active Directory setup with W2K and XP clients
that I am having a problem with. I have set the password policies,
including account lockout, in AD at the Default Domain Policy. They
seem to get the policies from the domain (as they are supposed to), but
they never get enforced - I can set a trivial password and no accou7nt
lockout occurs. This happens on both the W2K and XP clients. I have
looked at all the policies, but am stumped as to why this would be
happening!

Anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

Thanks,

Brian

Hi,

Have we rebooted the machines? As this setting is set at the computer
level some settings require the machine to be rebooted.
If they have been rebooted, is there any other policy at the domain
level that may be conflicting with this policy?
Do the DC's have this policy applied to them?

Good luck
