Active Directory Setup

just formatted new HD using NTFS and installed a fresh
copy of Win2k server. Each time have gone to setup AD it
gets to the final stage of setup and bombs out with the
message saying:

ACTIVE DIRECTORY INSTALLATION FAILED
The operation failed with the following error:
The network location could not be reached. for info about
network trouble shooting see windows help.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks
 
You must have a network connect to the server. atleast plug into a hub or
you may beable to install some loopback driver.
