Active Directory Installation Failure

I am replacing a SBS 2000 server with a new one. The old
server is offline and when starting the installation for
SBS on the new server I get to the Active directory setup
and get the error message

Active Directory Installation Failed

The operation failed with th following error:

A duplicate name exists on the network.

Wait some time for NetBios domain name to disappear from the network, or
maybe install your new SBS server on a separate network.
