Active Directory and backup DCs

What I've read of Active Directory says that MS did away with the model
of Primary and Backup DC. Isn't there a way to make the ADserver
redundant?

Funny, but there's nothing on the cable company server either. Not even
my original message.

Did I miss anything good? :)

Something went wrong. My prior message, and the whole thread if there
was a thread, never showed up on AT&T's server. I'll try my cable
company's server.

Thanks.

Nah, not really. :-)

Simply, Active Directory has a partner-level replication between domain
controllers. There is no need for a "PDC" or a "BDC", any change to one
domain controller gets replicated to all other domain controllers. The only
reason the term "PDC" persists to this day is because of the FSMO (Flexible
Single Master Operation) roles that can be held by the domain controllers.
