activation problems

hi

i've been using my current pc and version of XP for almost 3 years. i've
recently had hard drive problems and had to perform multiple reformats, all
of which still allowed me to reactivate XP afterwards. however, i've just
installed and set up a completely new hard drive and am now unable to
activate XP. the support section of the site says i should be able to
activate as many times as required, but obviously this new hard drive is
making it think it's another computer. how would i get around this problem?

thanks

Follow the procedure to "activate by phone" to obtain a new,
and free, activation code.
