The last time I reactivated by phone I WAS done within 5 minutes.
Sorry to inform you of this. I was here - you weren't!

If it was a forced phone activation, then it is practically impossible.

Wondering why you adopt such an aggressive/angry stance. Doesn't seem
like such a good idea when you are seeking help or advice. Just my
personal opinionthough, not trying to be a "pain".

Screw you! I hope karma finds you on the wrong end of a PA fault, and
then we'll see aggressive/angry you get!

I stopped following this thread days ago because it got too personal,
but I wanted to let everyone know that I just put in my new video
card. I did not get the activation screen upon reboot.

My 1gig memory will not be here until Tuesday though.

LOL! PA is particularly flakey with RAM upgrades.

I wish you luck with your problem I would help if I could.

P.S........ and possibly it could be time for you to consider an anger
management program. Just a suggestion.

I have no problem, Itchy, and if I did, I'd be able to find my own
solution.

And as for anger, I handle that just fine, thanks.

But here is a suggestion for you:

Kiss my big fat pimply pasty white ass! ;-)

It is only flakey with people with low intelligence! I have never had
any problems thus far and I only upgrade memory modules as and when I
get throw-aways from my university.

You haven't missed anything as I too was away busy keeping up-do-date

He is not likely to need any help as he is using cracked software which
is not supported.

No amount of anger management is going to make any difference with him.

How, spray tell, does a program know the difference?

Not very clear. If you had said, "I originally had 128MB and I went to
1.5GB and had no problems", you might have a point.

Um, cracked versions of XP need not be activated. Paid for versions are
not all "supported" either.

You have no idea about what you are talking about.

him.

LOL! Buggy code that only affects those with low intelligence!

I would give you the incomplete error codes that that result from PA,
but you are worth it, as anyone reading your drivel will see you opinion
as nothing but misplaced backslapping.

"Only morons have PA problems, and since I've never had one, that means
I'm not a moron!" BS! What it means is that you are totally insecure,
and you need to wrongly put down people's intelligence in order to build
up your own ego.

PA problems have nothing to with intelligence, unless you count in
greed, and a need to control others as negative intellingence traits,
and then it isn't the End Users intelligence that is in question, but
Microsoft's executives that came up with the PA concept.

By implication and deduction, you are admitting that you are a moron. I
shall not try to disagree with you on that score. We already had views
and opinions about you but purely out of politeness we decided to keep
it to ourselves.

Are you using Pluralis Majestatis here? Were you the rector at your
university? If not then your opinions are your own not that of a group. I
think the majority of the regulars here think that Kurt may have a bee in
his bonnet about Microsoft's policies but most of us don't think he's a
moron.

ROFL! I was paraphrasing you, dipsh*t. Hence the quotes to indicated I
wasn't writing as me.

That you didn't figure that out kinda points to you being the sanitation
engineer at your institution.

can't you use the land line for this...

I'm sure some of the participants of this thread are using dial-up to
access this group. And I'm using cable, so technically that could be
considered a land-line too!
