Activate NTFS partition on CF?

C

Carlo

I can´t set an ntfs partition as active on a 512MB compact
flash. I´ve tried with diskmanager in both XP pro and W2K.
I also did a fruitless effort with diskpart but understood
later that this program can´t handle removable
devices..."sigh"

Help appreciated

PS I had an active partition on this CF before i started
to mess with it...

Solution 1, contact CF manufacturer for tools to mark CF as fixed.
Solution 2. dig up DOS from somewhere and use fdisk to set partition as
active.

Carlo,

I'll probably repeat myself but it is worth again to mention the tool.
Try Paragon Partition Manager (Win32). A while ago it helped me much to partition "non-standard" CF card that I couldn't work out
with XP disk manager.
