activate a hyperlink after a movie

I've linked to a movie to play in my presentation, after the movie ends, I
want a button to appear that I can click on to go back to a previous
slide....I have created this, but when I click on my button, instead of going
back it plays the movie again.

i think you hyperlinked the button the wrong way
make an new one and hyperlink it to a slidenumber (you can set a slidenumber
when you create an hyperlink) a menu appears so you can choose visually the
slide you want to hyperlink to
