Actiontec DSL and Vista

I have an Actiontec DSL modem (GT701C) that fails to connect to the Internet
under my new os Vista. Is there a driver that anyone knows about? My old
broadband modem is linked to a router for an in-house wireless network and
works fine,

If you're using the USB port, use the Ethernet port instead. No extra
drivers should be needed, just the correct username and password.

Connection between the modem and the ISP should have nothing to do with the
OS that client PCs use.

Hi
When you use a Router, it keeps the connection alive regardless of the
computer.
Otherwise, find out what type of authentication (Id and PW) your ISP uses,
and implement it accordingly.
