Acrobat Reader

can someone help me.......i try installing acrobat reader on windows xp
professional but it won't let me it freezes..........it's ok when installing
on other xp pc, so the cd is ok.....anyone know what might me causing this
problem on this pc

Does the download automatically replace version 6 or do you need to
remove version 6 through Add / Remove Programs?

No, you need to uninstall v6.0 first.

I went back to version 6 from 7. Seven wasn't showing pictures in PDF
files. Going back to version 6 fixed it, plus, I didn't like version
7 'preloading' itself at boot time. I can wait the few extra seconds
for the program to open when I need it.
