Acrobat Reader 8 and Pro 8 with IE7

I have been unable to use the version 8 software after installation.
The EULA is displayed in IE for agreement and after what looks
like a good render (milliseconds in duration) a notice that
Internet Explorer can not read the webpage.

I have successfully installed the reader on machines which don't
have the benefit of the IE7 installation.

Does anyone know a workaround?

Are you seeing this error message screen where the EULA is to appear?

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

If not, posting the exact message and/or a screenshot (publish on the web) would help tremendously.

The machine in question is home (hence the 1:51am) I 'll send the
screen.)

Yes the error screen is the exact size of the EULA screen. The window
is without the Menu bar or any handle to try to troubleshoot.

The initial line is verbatim:
"Internet Explorer can not read the webpage"

The error screen has two active links:
1.one to go back to the previous page.
and
2. a link with words "more information"
which when clicked produces an in place expansion
about settings for SSL, etc.

I'll have to screen capture or type from it (I guess the old dictum
against
binary content no longer makes sense)

Could not paste or attach image, so copied text from window:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to
make sure you are connected.
Retype the address.
Go back to the previous page.
More information
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server does not have a listing for the website's
domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click tools, click Internet
Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS
protocols are enabled under the security section.

FOUND PROBLEM: IE7 WAS AT BETA 2. REPLACED WITH FINAL
ALL PROBLEMS RESOLVED.

Sorry, I thought one of my Updates had said it was pushing
the final version of IE7. I was wrong.
