acrobat reader 5.0

I installed acrobat reader 6.0, but i have uninstalled it
and want to use acrobat reader 5.0 again (was on my
computer before and had not deleted it). However when i
click on a link that required acrobat reader to view, it
doesn't work. How can i get the browser to recognize
acrobat reader 5.0 again?
