Acrobat 5.0 & Reader 7.0 causes problems with pdf files in IE

O

osoeder

We have Acrobat 5.0 full version and Reader 7.0. This causes a problem,
as both have plugins to open PDF in IE. Now no pdf opens :-(

I unregistered acroiehelper.ocx and restarted the computer, now I can
set 7.0 that it should open pdf outside the browser in a new window.

How can I find a clean solution? I set IE settings in Acrobat 5.0 that
it should not open it within IE, but how can I tell Acrobat 5.0 to do
not open any pdf in IE?
